About Domaination
What this is
Domaination does one thing: it watches a domain name that's already taken and emails you the second it becomes available to register. No refreshing WHOIS pages for months, no expensive domainer tooling, no registrar account required. Search any domain, see whether it's available right now, and if it isn't, put it on watch.
Where the data comes from
Availability and WHOIS data come straight from the source: the registries themselves, via RDAP (the successor to WHOIS mandated by ICANN), backed by live DNS checks. When you see an expiry date, a registrar, or a status like redemption period on a result page, that's the registry's own record, not a cached copy from a third party. For country extensions without RDAP we fall back to DNS-based checks, which still detect the moment a domain frees up.
How we make money
Two ways, both simple. Monitoring is a small one-time fee per domain after your first free one. And when a domain you want is available, we link you to registrars to register it; some of those links are affiliate links that pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. We are not a registrar, we don't sell domains, and we never lock you in: you register wherever you like.
